I don't think it's a reality, why are there Storms in the videos?

Looks like old footage with computer voice overs.

No Thunderbirds on the Triumph UK web site - none, zero, zip. Video was posted to YouTube a week ago, looks much older.

They do have a special CHROME collection for most models tho, including the new Rocket.
Saw one here a couple days ago, the new Rocket is nothing like the original model. Single-side swing arm, much improved looks, I think it even weighs less than the Thunderbird (294kg dry, 648lbs).

Also not to mention, if they came out with a new Tbird theres no way it would have throttle cables like in this idiotic video. Some people have too much time on their hands.

I would love an updated lighter Thunderbird but I do not think it is going to happen .
Perhaps a new Sprint GT sports tourer type bike with the 1200cc engine would interest me .
Please Triumph no more explorer bikes , surely there are enough in your line up .

...and may not be for the Thunderbird traditionalist

That looks like a prop, no rear suspension.

Suspension is over rated. Weld the swing arm, instant hardtail.

The new $25,000US, 2500cc Rocket is all aluminum. Link Frame, single-sided swing arm, the whole enchilada. Good idea?

I didn't ponder the rear suspension, my mind defaulted to monoshock . Anyway the article's headline labeled the bike a Storm. HELL No, the real deal Thunderbird when Storm was just a twinkle in Triumph's eye!

No monoshock, no room between mudguard and tyre unless the whole unit pivots as one and then what a ride for the rider!

Agree Lee.

It is probably an SE, by the looks to judge.

Show bike I guess, I wouldn't ride it, no thanks.

I believe the initial intention of AZ was to to be ironic.

Can anyone tell if this is just a creative photo shop of a show bike?

IF It is a prop. Maybe They are just trying to Gage the market? I know this much,
I LIKE THE CONCEPT! Weather real or imagined, It has a very "Ness" type chopper tank.
I'm a 2 up guy so I defiantly would like to see a real two up seat.

Shaving weight would be a big plus!
Love the up-swept exhaust look, might be hell for a passenger though So an optional non-swept set up would be nice.

The mono shock underneath would be nice. I like the clean look.
OH, and Triumph, lets add a few mills to our fuel tanks please! Give us something that can actually take a hit.

Thank you and please join me for Beamers Tea Room

Good question. Me thinks it's real, Juan Aue's Thunderbird is on Pinterest.
My bike (solo seat) will have upswept exhaust in black, should weigh less than 700 lbs, an evolution.

It is a custom show bike from around 10 years ago in Germany I think

Yes, it's not the first time that image has been posted on the forum.
